Christ Mission Ashram (CMA) is an indigenous, independent, evangelical organization, with a goal of reaching the unreached in India. On 1 March 1986, a prayer group formed CHRIST MISSION ASHRAM and supported Rev Sukrit Roy and Mrs Sang Yee Roy to work as a missionary couple in India. They started their work in Calcutta, West Bengal and planted the “Calcutta Love Presbyterian Church”.

Churches planted

Since then more than 90 Presbyterian churches have been planted, although so far only 20 churches have their own simple buildings which were constructed through the support of mission-minded Christians. The newly planted churches are to be found in various villages and towns in West Bengal and one or two each in Bihar State, Orissa State, Sikkim State, Assam State, Meghalaya State, Tripura State and East Nepal.

Christ Mission Ashram 25th Anniversary

By the grace of God, in the month of February 2012 we at Christ Mission Ashram had our 25th Anniversary and celebrated it together with partners from around the world. Find in this video some of the greetings from abroad, followed by a short video remembring what God did in our midst in the past years.

Come over and help

Several groups of believers, pastors and missionaries from South Korea, the Netherlands, the United States and other countries have responded to our call “COME OVER AND HELP US”. They have visited Calcutta and West Bengal witnessing and assisting the ministries of CMA. In our goal to reach the many millions of people in the 65.000 villages or couple of cities in West Bengal. We kindly request you to pray for the Indian people that their blindness remove from their eyes and that the destruction of evil will be broken.
